Altea tiene infinidad de rincones mágicos, tiene gentes de todo el mundo, pero además impregna del intenso azul del mediterráneo en cada pupila de quien la visita. Su magia es digna de leyendas y habladurías populares y no muy desencaminadas debían ir estas historias, si ya desde tiempos de la España de los árabes, muchos eran quiénes ansiaban descansar aquí.

El halo particular que inunda de «magia» su centro histórico es casi palpable, el mar de un azul intenso con su roca es inconfundible, la Serra Bèrnia, que parece proteger al pueblo como una guardiana silenciosa, la gastronomía autóctona repleta de matices de todas las culturas que por aquí han pasado, la importancia en la conservación de sus barrios más antiguos, la tranquilidad y el sosiego que se respira…Altea es sol, pero Altea es muchas cosas más.
